Galaxies: Across Space and Time
This is wonderful short video using Hubble Space Telescope imagery to illustrate the age of galaxies and how light
traveling as fast as it does still takes a very long time to reach us from these distant galaxies. In this video
you will see galaxies "not as they are but as they once were." (3 minutes)

Two Small Pieces of Glass
This is a video released to the Planetarium community a couple of years ago. It tells the
story of the development of the telescope, how it was used by the Astronomers of centuries past, and how it has
evolved into the telecopes we use today and are planning for the future. Story is sort of told by
a middle school Science Teacher to two of her students who had joined the teacher at a star party.
