Follow the Drinking Gourd Based on the illustrated story written by Jenette Winters, this is a story about
a slave family and how they learned to use the stars of the 'Drinking Gourd', the Big Dipper
to locate the direction north. With that information and the help of the Underground Railroad, the family
travels at nigh and eventually make their way to a free state. (12 minutes)
