Lunar Passages
    Many times during a month the Moon passes by bright stars and planets, and often we are treated to nice pairings or groupings of these objects.
    As shown in this view set for 0445 CDT on June 30th a thin waning crescent Moon will be rising with the Pleiades over the east-northeast horizon.
